PURPOSE & SCOPE ================================================================================ This document defines the eligibility requirements, registration pathways, and step-by-step enrollment process for Amazon Brand Registry as it applies to Daralbeida. It also details the benefits unlocked by enrollment and the maintenance obligations required to keep Brand Registry status active. Brand Registry enrollment is a prerequisite for A+ Content, Sponsored Brands, Amazon Vine, Brand Analytics, and Brand Store — all of which are required for the Phase 1 Amazon launch. This SOP is to be executed by PYB in coordination with US trade counsel. 2. WHAT BRAND REGISTRY UNLOCKS ================================================================================ Enrollment in Amazon Brand Registry provides access to the following tools, all of which are unavailable to non-enrolled sellers: A+ CONTENT (Enhanced Brand Content) Allows replacement of the standard product description with rich brand- controlled content modules: enhanced imagery, brand story, comparison charts, ingredient callouts, and provenance narrative. A+ Content has a documented positive impact on conversion rate, typically cited by Amazon as a 3–10% uplift. Required for Phase 1 listing strategy. SPONSORED BRANDS Keyword-triggered banner ads that display the Daralbeida brand logo, a custom headline, and multiple ASINs at the top of Amazon search results. Available only to Brand Registry sellers. Required for brand awareness PPC layer. SPONSORED BRANDS VIDEO Short-form video ads (6–45 seconds) that appear in search results. High visibility format, increasingly important in food and premium grocery. AMAZON VINE Invite-only reviewer program. Allows enrollment of up to 30 units per ASIN for distribution to trusted Amazon reviewers at no cost to the reviewer. The only legitimate mechanism for seeding verified reviews at launch. BRAND ANALYTICS Provides access to: Search Query Performance (impressions, clicks, cart adds, purchases per keyword), Market Basket Analysis (frequently purchased with), Repeat Purchase Behaviour, Demographics, and Top Search Terms reports. Essential data for PPC optimisation and keyword strategy. BRAND STORE A dedicated multi-page Amazon storefront for the Daralbeida brand. Functions as a brand landing page within Amazon, linkable from Sponsored Brands campaigns. Required for Sponsored Brands activation. AMAZON POSTS Social-media-style brand content feed on Amazon. Free tool for organic brand discovery. Available post-enrollment. IP PROTECTION TOOLS Automated brand protection scanning, Report a Violation tool, and Transparency program access (serialised product authentication at unit level). 3. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS ================================================================================ Amazon Brand Registry requires the following: TRADEMARK REQUIREMENT A registered or pending trademark for the brand name (or logo) in at least one of the following countries: United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, European Union, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Japan, India, Australia. For Daralbeida's US launch, a USPTO trademark (registered or pending) is sufficient. Amazon accepts: (a) Registered trademark: USPTO registration number required (b) Pending trademark: USPTO serial number required The trademark must match the brand name exactly as it appears on the product and in the Amazon listing. The brand name "Daralbeida" must appear identically in the USPTO application and in all Amazon materials. SELLER CENTRAL ACCOUNT An active Amazon Seller Central account at Professional tier ($39.99/month) is required. Individual accounts are not eligible for Brand Registry enrollment. PRODUCT REQUIREMENT Products sold under the brand must be physically branded — the brand name must appear on the product or packaging. Amazon may request images showing the brand name on the physical product during the enrollment process. BRAND OWNERSHIP OR AUTHORISATION The enrolling party must be the trademark owner or an authorised agent of the trademark owner. For Daralbeida, PYB as founder enrolls as the brand owner. 4. DARALBEIDA'S CURRENT TRADEMARK STATUS ================================================================================ As of 2026-05-01: USPTO Application Status : Filed — pending examination Trademark Class : Class 29 (Edible oils and fats) Brand Name Filed : Daralbeida (one word, as filed) USPTO Serial Number : [TO BE CONFIRMED WITH US TRADE COUNSEL] Registered / Pending : Pending A pending USPTO application is sufficient for Amazon Brand Registry enrollment. Amazon will verify the application by sending a verification code to the trademark correspondence address on file with the USPTO. This address must be accessible — confirm with US trade counsel that the correspondence address on the USPTO application is one where codes can be received. IMPORTANT: The brand name in the Amazon Brand Registry application must match the USPTO filing exactly: "Daralbeida" — one word, no spaces, no hyphens. Any variation will cause the application to be rejected. 5. REGISTRATION PATHWAY: STANDARD ENROLLMENT ================================================================================ This is the primary pathway for Daralbeida given that a USPTO application is already filed. ELIGIBILITY CHECK: Pending USPTO trademark application in Class 29, active Professional Seller Central account, brand name matching between USPTO filing and Amazon brand name, and physical product with brand name on packaging. PROCESS OVERVIEW: Amazon sends a verification code to the USPTO trademark correspondence address. The code is entered in Brand Registry to confirm trademark ownership. Upon successful verification, Brand Registry access is granted — typically within 24–72 hours of code entry. TIMELINE: Typically 3–7 business days from submission to enrollment, assuming the USPTO correspondence address is accessible and the verification code is received promptly. RISK: If the USPTO correspondence address is an attorney's office, the code will be sent there. Coordinate with US trade counsel to ensure timely receipt and forwarding. This is the single most common cause of enrollment delay. 6. REGISTRATION PATHWAY: IP ACCELERATOR (ALTERNATIVE) ================================================================================ Amazon's IP Accelerator program connects brands with Amazon-vetted IP law firms. Brands that engage an IP Accelerator firm and file a trademark through that firm can receive Brand Registry access with a pending application immediately, without waiting for the USPTO verification code process. FOR DARALBEIDA: Since the USPTO application is already filed through existing US trade counsel, IP Accelerator is not the primary pathway. It is noted here as a fallback option if the standard enrollment encounters verification delays. Using IP Accelerator would require engaging a separate IP Accelerator firm, which may conflict with existing counsel arrangements. Consult US trade counsel before pursuing this pathway. 7. STEP-BY-STEP ENROLLMENT PROCESS ================================================================================ STEP 1 — CONFIRM PREREQUISITES Confirm all of the following before starting: - Seller Central Professional account active and in good standing - USPTO serial number confirmed with US trade counsel - USPTO correspondence address confirmed and accessible - Brand name spelling confirmed: "Daralbeida" - Product packaging with "Daralbeida" brand name available for photography STEP 2 — NAVIGATE TO BRAND REGISTRY Go to: brandregistry.amazon.com Sign in using the Seller Central account credentials. Select: "Enroll a Brand" STEP 3 — ENTER BRAND INFORMATION Brand name : Daralbeida Trademark office : United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) Trademark number : [USPTO Serial Number — confirm with US trade counsel] Trademark type : Text-based (if application is for the word mark) Image-based (if application includes logo) Product category : Grocery & Gourmet Food STEP 4 — ENTER MANUFACTURING & DISTRIBUTION INFORMATION Countries where brand is manufactured : Morocco Countries where brand is distributed : United States Amazon marketplaces : Amazon.com (US) STEP 5 — UPLOAD PRODUCT IMAGES Amazon requires images showing the brand name on the physical product or packaging. Provide: - Image of 0.5L bottle label showing "Daralbeida" brand name clearly - Image of 1L bottle label showing "Daralbeida" brand name clearly - Image of outer carton if applicable Image requirements: JPEG or PNG, minimum 1000px on longest side, brand name clearly legible, no post-processing that obscures label detail. STEP 6 — SUBMIT APPLICATION Review all entries. Submit. Amazon will send a verification code to the USPTO trademark correspondence address on file. This is automated and cannot be redirected. STEP 7 — RECEIVE AND ENTER VERIFICATION CODE Monitor the USPTO correspondence address for the Amazon verification email. Typical receipt: 1–3 business days. Enter the code at brandregistry.amazon.com when received. If code not received within 5 business days, contact Brand Registry support via the case log in Seller Central. STEP 8 — CONFIRM ENROLLMENT Once code is accepted, Brand Registry status will show as Enrolled within 24–72 hours. Confirm access to: A+ Content Manager, Vine, Brand Analytics, Stores, and Sponsored Brands campaign type in advertising console. STEP 9 — CONNECT SELLER ACCOUNT In Brand Registry, navigate to Manage > Selling Accounts and confirm that the Daralbeida Seller Central account is connected to the brand. This connection is required for A+ Content and Vine access in Seller Central. 8. POST-ENROLLMENT: ACTIVATING BENEFITS ================================================================================ The following steps activate Brand Registry benefits immediately after enrollment. These should be completed in the order shown as several are prerequisites for others. Order Action Notes ------ -------------------------------- ------------------------------------ 1 Build Brand Store Required before Sponsored Brands launch. Minimum: Home, Product, Brand Story pages. 2 Submit A+ Content Per DAB-AMZ-LISTING-001. Allow 7 calendar days for review. 3 Enroll ASINs in Vine Per DAB-AMZ-VINE-001. Requires Active listings with inventory. 4 Activate Brand Analytics No action required; auto-enabled. Confirm data is populating after first sales. 5 Launch Sponsored Brands Requires Brand Store to be live. Per DAB-AMZ-PPC-001. 6 Activate Amazon Posts Optional at launch; schedule for Month 2 onward. 9. BRAND REGISTRY MAINTENANCE & COMPLIANCE ================================================================================ TRADEMARK MONITORING Brand Registry status is tied to the USPTO trademark application. If the application is abandoned, rejected, or lapses, Amazon may revoke Brand Registry access. US trade counsel must monitor USPTO application status and respond to any Office Actions within the required timeframe. PYB must be notified of any USPTO communication within 24 hours of receipt. BRAND NAME CONSISTENCY The brand name "Daralbeida" must be used consistently and identically across all Amazon materials, packaging, and trademark filings. Any variation creates both registry risk and consumer confusion. ACCOUNT HEALTH Brand Registry is linked to the Seller Central account. Account health metrics (Order Defect Rate, Late Shipment Rate, Policy Compliance) must be maintained within Amazon's required thresholds. A suspended Seller Central account loses access to Brand Registry benefits. REPORTING VIOLATIONS Brand Registry provides a Report a Violation tool. Any third-party listings misusing the Daralbeida brand name or imagery should be reported promptly via this tool. Documenting violations also supports trademark enforcement. TRANSPARENCY PROGRAM (FUTURE) Amazon's Transparency program applies unique QR codes to individual units, allowing consumers and Amazon to verify product authenticity at the unit level. This is not required at launch but is recommended for Year 2+ as volume scales, particularly given the premium provenance positioning of the brand. 10. ESCALATION & SUPPORT ================================================================================ Amazon Brand Registry support is accessed via: - Seller Central > Help > Contact Us > Brand Registry - brandregistry.amazon.com > Support Common issues and resolution paths: Issue Resolution Path ------------------------------- ---------------------------------------- Verification code not received Check USPTO correspondence address; contact Brand Registry support after 5 business days; consult US trade counsel Application rejected Review rejection reason; typically brand name mismatch or image issue; resubmit with corrections Brand not connecting to Navigate to Brand Registry > Manage > Seller account Selling Accounts; add account manually A+ Content not available Confirm Seller account is connected in after enrollment Brand Registry; allow 24 hours post- enrollment Vine not appearing in Confirm listing is Active with inventory; Seller Central Vine requires FBA fulfillment method 11.
